You've probably seen all sorts of things proposed as good feedstocks for biofuel, but watermelons? That's what researchers writing in the journal Biotechnology for Biofuels are saying (hat tip to Mongabay). They probably wouldn't work, without effort, as the sole feedstock, but could be used with other feedstocks:

Nice idea, I wonder the aftermath because we already see the effects of the corn?  Did we said corn was good for the fuel, now we are backtracking on the production of the corn?  *ponders*

What Real Women Want in Their Gadgets

Women buy a lot of gadgets, but it’s easy for us to feel invisible in the world of consumer electronics. Gadgets — not to mention gadget blogs — often seem overwhelmingly marketed towards males. And that’s too bad, because the electronics industry is missing a big opportunity.

I read a Wired article: "What Real Women Want in Their Gadgets". I personally do not care for pink or make ups. I do not care for the glossy make ups that make up of the commercials. I do like my gadgets. I love that the fact that they do what they need to do. They do have the power to last. They have the specifics that I need to do my work and leisure on. (DVD, TV viewing, sound, camera, video, etc) Bonus would be the the stylish appearance. Apple is very pricey for me to afford, well unless I go to the refurbishment bins for their equipments. Dell, I haven't had the desire for any yet. Sony I am planning to get one soon. HP, I have a few products around, they are not hippest. I usually buy my gadgets for their usefulness for me, long term use, recyclable to the next person if possible and of course price! I haven't get the ugliest gadget since 2007 expect my Samsung cellular phone.

(CBS)It could get a lot easier to reduce the amount of sugar in your diet, if some of America's biggest food companies are to be believed. Several giant food producers sent a letter to Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack warning that the U.S. might "virtually run out of sugar" of the country didn't reduce import restrictions on the increasingly expensive commodity, according to a Wall Street Journal report $ Thursday.

Sugar prices are in the all time high.  We are also consuming in an all time high loads of sugar, therefore, the demand of the sugar are high too.  The drought in India drive the price of sugar even higher.  No wonder my significant other quit eating chocolate expect for an occasional hot coco.  I still would eat a nice ethical chocolate bars, but it would not be without sugar.  The truth is that people would start cutting down on real sugar if the prices continue to go up or the name brand would substitute real sugar with glucose-fructose!  Ewww!  I can taste the difference and in no way I would buy chocolate with those in it.  Drinks may be okay, but food, you can tell a great deal of difference.  Even my pop prices are already in an increase, yikes!

36 Words You Should Never Say In Bed | The Frisky

It’s bad enough to hear a funky word in your day-to-day life, but what about when you’re trying to keep things sexy? You don’t want to say something icky when you’re naked. That’s why we’ve compiled a list of no-no words for once you’ve said “yes.” Let’s do it, down and dirty with 36 words you should never ever say ... in bed!

Some of the words in the list are a tad not needed to be on the list: mommy, daddy, adorable.
It sucks should be banned, banned, stinkie, should be on the list!
I think the rest are pretty okay to stay on the list.
What words do you think should be outta of the list?
Any words that should be on the list?

The morning routine for natural product aficionados could look something like this: after brushing their teeth with Tom's of Maine and moisturizing with Burt's Bees, they enjoy a Kashi bar washed down with Naked Juice.

Purists cry foul as they fear more of their favourite natural brands will go corporate as big companies want in on the action without building up their own brands. Others say this is the only way to bring these eco-products to the masses — and give the environment a bigger boost.
Honestly, now-a-days to find smaller brands without the corporate name behind it takes the time and effort to do so.  I think it does take time to do your research online and a lot of smaller companies do put some effort to put themselves online so that they could communicate the technology savvy types.  Some would also head to the summer farmer's market to garner attention for their products.
I would not necessary say about myself as a brand loyalists.

Twitter Why You Fail Thee, Now Some....

Twitter and Facebook and possibility more became the victims of denial of service attacks, which we don't have much of an answer to today.  We only know that its slowing down Facebook and had Twitter failwhale (no service) for two hours!  Now I would say I am avid user of both, but to say, I wouldn't say upset, but more like a tad bit of an inconvenience because of Twitter do use their API (Application programming interface) to access third party applications.
Their reasons thus far: unknown.
Speculations for now are: According to Bill Woodcock of Packet Clearing House (a nonprofit organization tracking Internet traffic), the attack wasn’t a traditional DDoS attack using automated bots, but one conducted through a wave of spam email messages that hit Twitter (Twitter), LiveJournal, and other websites. On top of that, it looks like YouTube.
To is some crazys aiming @ Twitter?
Could it be a virus?
Google is assisting Twitter and Facebook to investigate the denial of service attack
hmm, we will eventually find out an answer somehow sometime hopefully soon!  :(

Update a moment ago: I read this a number of hours ago, but its becoming clear: Does Russia-Georgia conflict have to do with DDoS attack?
