Google Maps QandA from You: the Reader
Since I am from Canada, I do not know from the rest of the world, but lately with the controversial of Google Street View, I noticed another issue: since Google has an open API, and also you can add things to the maps, its prone to errors. There was one locale that I was trying to locate on Google Maps, which I will point to it on a link: http://peek.snipurl.com/j4c1a [maps_google_ca]
then I will point to another point on Google Map: http://snipurl.com/j4cno [maps_google_ca]: (note for the unverified listing) http://snipurl.com/j4cno

Google Maps is good, but there are a few concerns:
1. people can put anything.(sometimes out of date or even couple off blocks off for places of interest or businesses)
2. I wonder Google Maps have somebody or groups to verify the points to make sure these are correct(Google does put unverified)?
3. When I went to one locale, it was at least more then 10 blocks off my origin intended. (That would relate to the instructions given, even though Google said its on beta and do not claim responsibility, I still think that so many people now depend on Google Maps)
4. I use both Google Maps on desktop and mobile, mobile is far a better platform to use.
